About Me

Welcome to the ‘About me’ portion of Rollin’ with the Rendon’s!

I’m just a bloggin’ mama of 3 who is trying her best on not much sleep, plenty of caffeine, tons of dry shampoo, and a whole lotta prayer! Juggling kids, a husband, and a career as an educator, it’s a lot… but I just have to keep it rollin’!

A little background information about me:

My name is Elizabeth Rendon and I am the mama to a one-year-old girl, a 4-year-old boy, and a 9-year-old girl. I am married to my high school sweetheart. We live in a small west Texas town. I have a bachelor’s degree in Early childhood development, and I’ve been in education for 5 years!

With that said this blog will be packed with resourceful information for the working mama!

I’ve always wanted to use my degree to help other mamas out with milestone achievements, questions moms have about their kids and what they should be doing or when they should be doing it, how to set successful routines, and how to encourage reading with your kiddo, etc.

By creating a blog I’m able to use my platform to do just that, while adding in some of my favorite things like budgeting, quick meals, DIY crafts, summer activities with the kids, traveling with little ones, the list goes on. I mean, what better way to learn than from my mistakes, and chaos?

This blog really can be a one-stop-shop (without the break-in your wallet) for all mamas

I am hoping to use this blog to build a community with other mamas, who just like me, love their kids, family, Jesus, and wine! Am I right!?

But also to serve as an outlet

For those especially hard days, when the baby is crying, the toddler is rebelling against real pants, the 9-year-old refuses to run a brush through her hair (because natural waves? I’m confused), and your husband, well bless their souls, but sometimes they just get on our nerves!

And since we’re on the path of openness and honesty, I’m the type of mom who has put a lasagna in the oven for an hour then took it out still frozen because spoiler alert, I NEVER TURNED THE OVEN ON! But as moms we slap a smile on our face, pour another cup of coffee, throw our hair in a messy bun, with a touch of dry shampoo, and just keep it rollin’ we’re not in this alone!

In conclusion,

(that’s my 8th-grade ELAR teacher coming out) Welcome to my blog! I hope everything that is written here can help all mamas out. So if you can relate to any of the above, again, welcome!

Life can be rough, so let’s keep it rollin’ together! I welcome all positivity and prayers as we go through this journey together!

Come on, and keep it rollin’ with the Rendon’s!

XOXO, e.rendon
